Where We Retreat

Place is part of the protocol. We're particular about where you recover.

Three Cities

Picked for what they make possible.

Houston is where Nesta’s was born, and it’s still the heart of the operation. The Texas Medical Center is around the corner. The international airport is twenty minutes away. The bilingual neighborhoods make medical tourism feel less foreign. Chicago opened later, for families who needed a Midwestern base that wasn’t a downtown hotel with a hallway view of a parking ramp. The lake is close. The light in spring is generous in a way southern cities don’t quite manage.

Atlanta covers the southeast. It’s a hub airport, which matters when you’re flying in tired. It’s also a city that walks well for people in the weeks after surgery, when ten minutes outside in the right weather does more than another nap. Each location runs the same standard of care. Each one feels different on purpose. Pick the one that gets you closer to the people you want around.

Houston

Texas, United States

Houston is the flagship. The house sits in a neighborhood that’s quiet by design, ten minutes from the Texas Medical Center and twenty from George Bush Intercontinental. Most of our post-surgical guests arrive here. The bilingual staffing is heaviest in Houston because the international patient population is. The bilingual hospitality isn’t a marketing checkbox. It’s the realistic baseline for a city where Spanish, French, Arabic, and Mandarin show up in the same week. The climate is humid and warm most of the year, which has practical implications for recovery. Indoor air quality matters more than you’d think in August. We run the HVAC on a schedule designed by a guest who happened to be an aerospace engineer and offered to spec it. The food is Gulf-coast adjacent, adjusted for whatever your surgeon wants you eating. The drivers know the post-op back roads to the medical center, which matter when you’re trying to avoid potholes after abdominal surgery. Houston runs more of our care models than any other location. New guests in other cities benefit from what Houston learned first.

Chicago

Illinois, United States

Chicago opened in 2025 because too many Midwestern families were flying their parents to Texas. We figured we should bring the house to them. The home sits north of the city, on a quiet street near a hospital corridor that handles a lot of the heavy procedures Midwesterners book locally. The setting is residential, not commercial. Trees, sidewalks, neighbors who wave. The recovery rhythm in Chicago is shaped by the seasons in a way Houston’s isn’t. Winter stays feel cocooned. We add a humidifier, a heavier set of throws, a tea cart. Spring and fall stays open onto the porch, which guests use more than they expect to. Summer’s warm enough for walks, which surgeons love because the gentle motion speeds the early recovery weeks. We run post-surgical recovery, veteran care, and medical transportation here. The transportation network is good enough that families don’t need a second vehicle for the duration of the stay.

Atlanta

Georgia, United States

Atlanta is the southeast base. It’s a hub airport, so it solves a logistics problem for guests flying in from Florida, the Carolinas, and across the gulf. The home is south of the city, close enough to the medical corridors to keep the drive short, far enough out that the noise drops. The climate makes Atlanta easier on early recovery than people expect. Long warm shoulder seasons mean guests can be outside in late October and again in early April without freezing or sweating. We schedule the daily walks for those windows. The food leans southern with adjustments. Greens, beans, slow-cooked proteins that hold up to medical diets. Post-surgical recovery is the largest program here, followed by veteran care. Medical transportation runs heavily because appointments are spread across a region rather than clustered in one medical district. We’ve learned to plan routes the way Houston plans menus. With care.

The right city is usually the one closest to who you love.
